Elon Musk, that is. One of my favorite people to follow on Twitter is Elon Musk. Love him or hate him, he is a great follow on Twitter. A couple of fun Elon Twitter stats: He has 106M followers! He follows just 122 Twitter accounts. To his credit, most of the accounts that he follows are science or electric vehicle related. Of course, he also follows DOGECOIN!

What we often get from Elon are smart or funny takes on things that are affecting him personally. That could mean comments on crypto, comments about Tesla or SpaceX, or comments about his latest lawsuit before his own attorneys shut him down.

In one recent Tweet, he shared a personal letter he received from Bill Nix, a Professor at Stanford University where he considered attending graduate school. In his letter, Bill Nix recognized Elon’s insight on the use of Si for lithium battery anodes back in 1995 when he met Elon as a possible grad student. Bill Nix said Elon was spot on! Bill Nix said that Stanford has conducted much research in that area since that time.

What’s also fun is that Elon shared a copy of the Bill Nix letter on Twitter. In doing so, he also sent out his personal address/P.O. box number to 106M followers! He then makes fun of himself doing that in a follow-up tweet.
